Showers moving west Cold night, touch of frost in north seiten=4 abk=focus
Monday
Apart from a few showers across northern Scotland, most places will get off to a dry, sunny but chilly start. By mid morning a line of showers across eastern parts of England and eastern Scotland will be making their way westward reaching parts of northwest England and from the Midlands to Hampshire in the afternoon. Along this line there may be some heavy showers with a risk of isolated thunder. Otherwise it's fine and dry with sunny spells for many. Expect highs of 13 to 19 Celsius but feeling warm in the sunshine.
Monday night
As those showers make slow progress westward, they fizzle out this evening with some late sunshine expected across the country. A chilly night to come with all parts looking dry with clear spells. Parts of rural Scotland and the glens and valleys could see a touch of frost. Expect lows of 2 to 7 Celsius.
Tuesday
Most parts of the country will have a fine, dry start with sunny skies. Through the morning scattered showers develop across south east Scotland, northern and eastern parts of England. In the afternoon expect an afternoon of cloud, sunny spells and scattered showers. South west England and Northern Ireland should be dry and sunny. Most of the showers dissipate early this evening ahead of another dry, chilly night under clear skies. Top temperatures of 14 to 16 Celsius.
Wednesday
We can expect a good deal of fine, dry weather across much of the United Kingdom today. There is a risk of scattered showers mainly across the south east and north western parts of England. A fine evening to come with some late sunshine to end the day. Rain affects the Northern Isles and the far north of Scotland overnight while the remainder of Britain is dry and mostly clear. Expect top temperatures of 16 to 18 Celsius.
