Thundery rain Humid in south seiten=4 abk=focus

Friday
A humid day across southern parts on Friday. There will be some spots of rain in the far southwest, these possibly thundery at times. Despite a fair start, cloud will be increasing on Friday afternoon through southern areas, with thundery rain heading north late in the afternoon, reaching southern Wales, much of southern England and parts of East Anglia and the Midlands by evening. Staying dry in north Wales, northern England and much of Scotland and Ireland with sunny spells. Thicker cloud in northern Scotland with a few spots of showery rain here, this slipping into central Scotland as the day progresses. Highs at 27C in southern England, 11C in the far north of Scotland.

Friday night
Wet in places tonight over much of Wales and the southern half of England. A risk of some torrential bursts of rain, although not everywhere, it will be rather hit and miss. Misty and murky through much of the area too. Drier in northern England and all but the very far south of Ireland. A few showers over the Southern Uplands of Scotland and some spots of drizzle around northern coasts. Lows near 8 to 16C.

Saturday
An area of low pressure is going to be dominating conditions across much of the UK through Saturday. A front surrounding the low will be bringing some heavy and thundery bursts of rain across much of northern England, the Midlands, Wales and southwest England. Drier to the southeast with sunny spells here, and fresher for all. A few showers may affect eastern Scotland, but drier to the west with sunny spells and staying mostly dry in Ireland too. Highs near 22C in southeast England, 10C in northern Scotland.

Sunday
High pressure across western Scotland on Sunday. This should bring a fair day with good spells of sunshine in the west. Some cloud and showers affecting more northern and eastern areas. Rather cloudy in the south with some spots of showery rain at first, but these fading and things then turn brighter through the day with the best sunshine in the west. Highs at 11 to 17C.
