Monday
A chilly start to the day. With high pressure now in charge, it's a dry day for much of the United Kingdom Expect good spells of sunshine today but more cloud may affect the far south of England. In the afternoon more cloud may develop across the country but there will still be sunny spells. There is a risk of a few showers in the afternoon across south western parts of Scotland. Expect highs of 15 to 19 Celsius.
Monday night
During the evening and the night cloud will spread in across Northern Ireland, Scotland and northern parts of England to bring outbreaks of rain to Scotland and Northern Ireland. For the rest of England and Wales it will be a fine evening with some late sunshine to end the day ahead of a dry, clear and quite chilly night. Expect lows of 5 to 9 Celsius.
Tuesday
We can expect a good deal of fine, dry weather across much of the United Kingdom today. There will be lots of cloud across the northern half of the country with the best of the sunshine across southern parts of England and South Wales. Some morning rain across Northern Ireland and western Scotland tends to die away. For Scotland and Northern Ireland the night looks cloudy and windy with some light outbreaks of rain. It continues dry with clear spells across England and Wales. Top temperatures of 16 to 22 Celsius.
Wednesday
Rather windy across northern Britain today. A rather cloudy day to come but some early sunshine for East Anglia and the south east. Apart from some rain across northern Scotland and parts of Northern Ireland, it's a dry day across much of the country. Light outbreaks of rain across Scotland weaken further as they spread into parts of northern England overnight. It continues dry in the south albeit cloudy. Expect top temperatures of 15 to 23 Celsius.
