Saturday
A bright day on Saturday across all parts of the country as a ridge of high pressure builds. This brings some reasonable spells of sunshine and lots of dry weather too. It should stay bright and mostly dry for the afternoon with further spells of sunshine too. Scattered showers forming over the hills of Scotland and Ireland, but generally it stays dry for most. Highs near 25C in southeast England, 16C in northern Scotland.

Saturday night
A dry start to the night with clear spells for many. Cloud thickening across Ireland bringing some outbreaks of rain here before midnight. The winds increasing too. Cloud then slips eastwards as the night progresses with rain into Scotland, northern England and Wales by the morning, this heavy at times in western Scotland. Lows around 10 to 15C.

Sunday
A ridge of high pressure persists across southern England on Sunday. Low pressure to the west of Scotland will be pushing fronts eastwards. These bring cloud and rain with them. Some of the rain heavy in western Scotland, and moderate bursts for northwest England and Wales too. However, as the rain band spreads east it will be turning ever lighter. Southern and southeastern England may well stay dry throughout. Drier and brighter weather with a scattering of showers arriving in Scotland and Ireland. Highs at 25C in southeast England, 16C in western Scotland.

Monday

There is the threat of low cloud around southern and western coasts with foggy conditions at times. Drizzle may affect western Scotland and western Ireland, again with coastal fog here. Temperatures reaching 27C in southern England, 16C in western Scotland.
