Brightest skies in the south-east, where it will feel very warm and humid. Highs 21 to 26C.

Staying widely cloudy across Britain and Ireland. Patchy outbreaks of rain and drizzle in western regions. Coastal fog in the south-west and west Wales. Also foggy to low levels across many western hills. Breezy in the north. Temperatures staying mild, and feeling muggy in urban areas in the south. Overnight lows typically 13 to 17C, a little cooler in northern Scotland.

Weak fronts are expected to reside across southern England, producing cloudy skies and occasional rain, but mostly amounting to very little. Becoming brighter for Wales & the south-west. Showery for Scotland & Ireland, locally giving persistent rain. A fresh west to south-westerly breeze, particularly around western coasts. Highs 18 to 21C in the west & north, but climbing to 25C in eastern England.

Fronts are expected to linger across southern regions, bringing a lot of cloud and the risk of patchy rain for a few hours. This should clear as high pressure builds from the west across the British Isles, eventually giving a brighter day for many. Sunshine breaking through widely for Ireland and northern Britain. Mostly very light winds, although breezy on some southern coasts. Highs 17 to 23C.
