Thursday
Broken cloud on Thursday morning over much of the country. There will be some bright spells, the best of them in the east where there will be some sunshine. Showers and a few spots of light rain affecting western and southern coasts and hills, these becoming more persistent over Ireland. Into the afternoon it stays mostly cloudy with more showery bursts of rain in the west and south. An odd shower in the east, although mostly dry here. Highs at a humid 24C in any sunshine in the east more generally 19 to 22C.

Thursday night
A breezy and rather cloudy night ahead. Further showers around western and southern coasts and hills. Heavier bursts of rain in northwestern Scotland. Tending to be drier in central and eastern areas, a few clear spells here. Lows near a muggy 12 to 16C.

Friday
Low pressure to the northwest of Scotland on Friday. Fronts will pass eastwards over the country giving cloud and outbreaks of rain. Most of the rain falling in more western areas. The main area of rain turning more showery as it heads eastwards. Brighter weather following in from the west with sunny spells and scattered showers in western Scotland, Wales and Ireland. Highs at 24C in eastern England, 17 to 20C in the west.

Saturday
An area of low pressure is going to be developing over the country during Saturday. Dry for many at first, but some cloud and rain extending into southwest England, Wales and northern England. During the morning this area of rain expands and continues to do so into the afternoon affecting many areas. East Anglia and southeast England may see sunny spells but the threat of thundery rain developing. Becoming very warm and humid in central and eastern parts at 28C, cooler north and west at 15 to 17C.
