Sunday
Brisk northerly winds will lessen across eastern parts of Britain through the day. A few showers are forecast for parts of Northern Ireland and north western parts of Scotland with one or two passing, light showers in the Greater Manchester area in the afternoon. Overall a fine dry day to come across Britain with the best of the sunshine through mid morning. More in the way of cloud then tends to develop. Expect top temperatures across the country of 15 to 18C Celsius.

Sunday night
Much of the country will have a fine, evening but soon turning chilly. Overnight just the odd scattered shower may affect north west Scotland, perhaps Wales and the coasts of north east England and East Anglia. Most places will be dry and clear. Expect lows of 6 to 12 Celsius but colder in rural areas and over the Highlands.

Monday
Lots of dry weather about today. There is a risk of some e widely, scattered, light showers near the North Sea coasts of England and in the afternoon a few may affect East Anglia. Elsewhere expect a good deal of cloud after a mostly sunny, chilly start to the day. It continues dry with clear spells into the evening and the night but more cloudy near those eastern coasts of England. Quite chilly again overnight with temperatures falling into single figure. Expect high temperatures of 14 to 19 Celsius.

Tuesday
A bit warmer today. With high pressure in charge it will be a fine, dry and settled day with more in the way of sunshine expected across the country. The weather will stay fine and dry into the evening and the night with long clear spells and a few fog patches forming by morning. More cloudy across East Anglia and the south east. Another chilly night to come. Expect top temperatures of 15 to 20 Celsius.
