A dry day Cloudy for most seiten=4 abk=focus

Monday
With high pressure in charge it will be mainly dry across the country but disappointingly cloudy for most places. Best of the sunshine today will be found across south western parts of England and perhaps the far south of Wales. Just a few scattered, light showers may be found near the coasts of Humberside to Suffolk. Expect top temperatures across the country of 14 to 18C Celsius.

Monday night
Much of the country will have a fine, evening but soon turning chilly with the cloud starting to break to clear spells. Overnight it stays cloudy across parts of Scotland and eastern England. It will be a dry night but just the odd scattered shower may affect north east Scotland, and the coasts of north east England and East Anglia. Where skies are clear it will be colder. Expect lows of 5 to 11 Celsius but colder in rural areas and over the Highlands.

Tuesday
Lots of dry weather about today. There is a risk of some widely, scattered, light showers near the North Sea coasts of England and in the afternoon. Elsewhere expect a good deal of cloud after a mostly sunny, chilly start to the day. It continues dry with clear spells into the evening and the night but more cloudy near those eastern coasts of England. Quite chilly again overnight with temperatures falling into single figure. Expect high temperatures of 14 to 19 Celsius.

Wednesday
That area of high pressure is now east of Britain but extends across the country and it will keep the weather dry. Again we expect a good deal of cloud, especially across central areas with south west England and perhaps Kent having the best of the sunshine today. The cloud soon melts giving a fine evening. It remains fine and dry in the night with clear skies. Expect top temperatures of 16 to 20 Celsius.
