Saturday
A band of cloud and rain affecting southern Scotland and parts of northern England early on Saturday morning. This rain band pushes north into southern and central Scotland by midday, and then into northern Scotland this afternoon. Spots of showery rain in eastern England at first too, but this clearing steadily east, leaving the coasts of East Anglia by mid afternoon. Drier weather into southern Ireland, Wales and central and southern England, some bright spells here too. This drier and brighter weather spreads eastwards through the afternoon with many areas finishing the day with some good spells of sunshine. Highs near 17C in northern Scotland, 22C in southeast England.

Saturday night
A dry start to the night over most of the country. Rain affecting the Shetlands, but this clearing in the early hours. Staying dry for the rest of the UK, but some spots of drizzle arriving in southern Ireland and the west and south coasts of Wales and southwest England as thicker cloud arrives here later. Lows near 6 to 10C.

Sunday
A complex area of low pressure will be affecting all areas on Sunday. This brings cloud, rain and strong winds in Ireland, Wales and southwest England. More northern and eastern areas tending to be starting the day dry with sunny spells, although cloud increasing through the afternoon. The best sunshine remaining in northern Scotland. Tops near 14C in western Scotland, 18C in southeast England.

Monday
An area of low pressure is expected to be centred over the UK and Ireland on Monday. Fronts surround the low bringing rain and showers. The rain could be heavy at times, especially over Scotland, Ireland and southwest England. Elsewhere heavy showers but with some bright or sunny spells between the showers. Potentially very windy in the far south and far north. Highs at 12C in northern Scotland, 19C in southeast England.
