Heavy pulses of rain Best in the north seiten=4 abk=focus

Sunday
As a deep area of low pressure approaches from the south west, it becomes windy across the West Country. The day dawns generally dry and bright with some early low cloud and mist clearing to some sunshine. There is uncertainty on the areas affected by rain. Present forecasts show heavy pulses of rain into south west and south western parts of England with rain into East Anglia in the afternoon. An area of showery rain to affect western parts of Scotland and Northern Ireland with the rest of Britain fair and dry. Expect top temperatures across the country of 13 to 17C Celsius.

Sunday night
Southern parts of Wales along with southern England may see showery outbreaks of rain and this area could push north into all of Wales, The Midlands and East Anglia in the night. Overnight another pulse of heavy rain may threaten eastern Scotland by morning. A mild night to come. Expect lows of 10 to 13 Celsius.

Monday
Very windy across south western parts of England with gales developing in the channel. Heavy rain across eastern Scotland tends to drift away to the north. Generally quite an unsettled day to come with a good deal of cloud and plenty of showers. These look heavy with a risk of thunder, perhaps merging into a longer spell of rain across Wales. An area of rain may linger across Wales and southern England tonight. Drier to the north. Expect high temperatures of 13 to 19 Celsius.

Tuesday
Rain clears from central and eastern parts of England in the morning. Not as wet across the country today. We still expect lots of cloud and not much sunshine alone with a few scattered showers. Largely dry across the country for the evening but another area of heavy rain may run up into Wales and the southern half of England as it becomes very windy. Expect top temperatures of 12 to 18 Celsius.
