Wednesday
Low pressure pushes rain and cloud into southern England on Wednesday morning, together with increasingly strong winds. The wind and rain rain topple into East Anglia and then the Midlands, becoming more persistent across the Midlands and Wales through the morning. Wet this afternoon in northern England, the Midlands, Wales and parts of southwest England, although the more persistent rain fading from east Anglia an the southeast, although still a few heavy showers here. Drier weather to come in Scotland and Ireland with plenty of cloud and a few bright spells here and there. Temperatures rising to around 14 to 20C by the end of the afternoon, although a cold 13 or 14Cin the Midlands and eastern Wales.
Wednesday night
The rain affects much of northern and eastern England overnight, only slowly clearing eastwards. Most places become dry as the rain clears away, although always with rather a lot of cloud. Windy too through Wales and southern England Scotland and Ireland as well as southwest England should be dry with some clearer spells. Chilly too around 3C in mid Scotland and central Ireland, a much milder 12C in the cloudier east.
Thursday
A complex area of low pressure in the North Sea on Thursday morning will be slowly moving away to the east. This brings some cloud and showers to eastern parts of the country. Further west there will be a mix of sunny spells and scattered showers. The showers could be turning heavier over southern Ireland, southwest Eng;and and south Wales in the afternoon. Highs near 14 to 18C.
Friday
Low pressure slowly moves away into Scandinavia on Friday, with a weak ridge of high pressure building into Ireland. This should bring some gradually drier weather to Ireland and western Scotland, although still a few showers on coasts. A front across central and eastern parts of the UK gives cloud and showery rain in the morning, some of it more persist in the far south and east. A slow improvement for the afternoon and feeling cool too. Highs at 14 to 19C.
