Friday
A chilly start then cloudy with a few showers in many central and southern parts of England this morning. The showers continuing into this afternoon, a few of them becoming heavy at times with a risk of thunder. Western parts of Wales, southwest England and northern England should be drier with cloud breaking and some sunny spells breaking through. Scotland and Northern Ireland will have broken cloud and sunny spells and are likely to be dry throughout the day. Highs at 14 to 18C.
Friday night
East Anglia and southeast England will have showers on and off through the night, a few of them heavy especially at first. Most other areas becoming dry with some clear spells. A few mist patches forming in more sheltered areas by the morning. Temperatures near 3C under the clearer skies, 8C in the southeast.
Saturday
A small area of low pressure to the southeast on Saturday. This brings a few showers across East Anglia and the far southeast, although these should clear during the day. Higher pressure builds to the west bringing good spells of sunshine and dry weather to most, after a chilly start. Tops at 15 to 19C.
Sunday
High pressure centred over England on Sunday. This brings another fair and dry day to most areas with good spells of sunshine. Fronts push cloud and some rain into the far west of Ireland later. Highs near 16 to 20C.
