Early morning mist and fog patches across many, most in the west and north. These clearing quickly and then after a chilly start the morning should be dry with plenty of sunshine for most. Some cloud is going to be developing into the afternoon, and this could produce a few showers across the eastern Midlands and southeast England. The best sunshine is likely to be across Scotland and Wales as well as southern England. Highs near 15C in northern Scotland, 21C in southern England.

Saturday night
Skies are going to be clearing quickly this evening. Staying dry overnight with those clear skies remaining. Mist and fog patches forming by morning with the risk of a touch of ground frost in more sheltered parts of England, Wales and eastern Scotland. Thicker cloud in western Scotland and Ireland. Lows at 3C under the clearer skies, 7C in cloudier parts of Ireland and western Scotland.

Sunday
A fair and chilly start to Sunday as a ridge of high pressure extends through the UK. Fronts pushing into western Ireland and western Scotland. Morning mist and fog patches once again through much of England, Wales and eastern Scotland. These clearing quickly and then a dry morning with good spells of sunshine. Cloud brings some patchy rain to western ireland and to western Scotland, this edging east during the day. Tops near 15 to 21C.

Monday
Pressure falls over Scotland with a small area of low pressure developing on Monday morning here. Cloud and rain in the west of the UK and Ireland on Monday morning, but dry with soe brighter spells to the east. Rain will be edging eastwards through the day, whilst at the same time it becomes brighter through Ireland and western Scotland with some heavy showers here. Highs at 15 to 19C.
