Monday
A breezy and chilly day in store for much of the country today. Overcast and misty with outbreaks of rain across England and Wales, some of this will be on the heavy side but dry across East Anglia and the south east until late morning. A few showers to affect western parts of Scotland and Northern Ireland. Through the afternoon the persistent and heavy rain clears all but East Anglia and the south east with some breaks developing to sunnier spells in the west. A number of showers to come around some western coasts. Expect top temperatures across the country of 14 to 16C Celsius.

Monday night
This evening the last of the rain across East Anglia and the south east clears as another band of heavy, showery rain runs in across Wales and into Cornwall. This then spreads in across The Midlands and the south during the night. A few heavy showers may also affect the Greater Manchester area and parts of Northern Ireland. Expect lows of 7 to 9 Celsius.

Tuesday
A breezy, chilly day with a good deal of cloud along with showers and some longer spells of rain. This may be heaviest across Wales and southern parts of England. Most places to turn dry this evening ahead of a mainly dry night with a good deal of cloud across eastern parts of Britain with and some clear intervals in the west. Expect high temperatures of 13 to 16 Celsius.

Wednesday
Central and eastern parts of the country will have a fine dry morning with sunny spells. More cloudy in the west with outbreaks of rain expected across western Scotland, Northern Ireland, Wales and Cornwall, much of it light and patchy. Best of the sunshine in the afternoon is likely to be in the far east. Generally a cloudy night to come with some patchy rain and showers in places. Some areas my be dry. Expect top temperatures of 13 to 18 Celsius.
