Wednesday
A bright start to the morning over eastern and central parts of England and Wales. Sunny spells here, and these probably lasting into the late afternoon in East Anglia and the southeast. A few spots of rain may trouble eastern parts of the Midlands in the afternoon too. Brighter and drier weather arriving in Northern Ireland and western Ireland this afternoon, although some showers in the west. Tops near 12C in northern Scotland, 18C in southern England.
Wednesday night
Cloudy skies and showery bursts of rain edging through Wales and most of England overnight. Some heavier showers may pass through southeast England and into East Anglia in the early hours. Scattered showers for western Scotland, Ireland and the west of England and Wales, but for many the night should be dry with clear skies once the rain has cleared. Lows of 4 to 8C.
Thursday
Low pressure is going to be centred north of Scotland on Thursday. A cold front clears southeast England early in the morning, taking outbreaks of rain with it. Heavy showers affecting much of Scotland, Ireland and northwest England, some over the west and north of Wales too. Elsewhere there will be less showers and mor ein the way of sunny spells, the best the further east you head. Tops near 12 to 17C.
Friday
Low pressure remains to the northeast of Scotland with higher pressure to the south. Showers in the north and west of Scotland. The showers more scattered elsewhere and dry over much of southern England and Wales. Tops near 11 to 18C.
