Thursday
Some morning rain still over southern England at first. An odd shower in central parts of England and over Wales too, but these fading to leave most places dry with sunny spells and broken cloud. There is a low risk of a shower into the afternoon here, but the vast majority will be dry. Heavier showers and strong winds over Scotland, most of them to the west with thunder and hail here to. Heavy showers in Northern Ireland too, and perhaps a few in northwest England. More eastern areas will be drier with sunny spells. Tops near 14 to 18C.

Thursday night
Showers and strong winds continue in Scotland and Northern Ireland overnight. Some showers in northwest England and north Wales, a few making it to northeast England too. Drier in the south with sunny spells and broken cloud as well as clear skies. Lows near 6 to 10C.

Friday
An area of high pressure building to the southwest of England on Friday. This will be bringing dry and bright weather in England and Wales with some god spells of sunshine. This continues throughout the afternoon. Showers in northern and western Scotland will be fading, leaving southern and central as well as eastern Scotland mostly dry with sunny spells. Highs at 12 to 16C.

Saturday
High pressure settles over the country on Saturday. There could be some mist and fog patches at first, and it will be a chilly start to the day too. The mist and fog clearing to leave sunny spells and dry weather for most. This lasting into the late morning and afternoon too. Highs near 14 to 18C.
