Any showers in the west fade this evening but persist across eastern parts of England into East Anglia. A few may be wintry. Clear and dry across inland area. With lighter winds developing in the night, expect a widespread frost and some icy patches where there were showers. Lows of -2 to 1 Celsius.

Rather windy this evening with perhaps East Anglia and the south east to stay dry. Wet elsewhere with heavy rain. A wet and windy night for England and Wales.
