Monday
A cold and frosty start to the day. Not as cold today as we'll see the winds switching around to that milder south westerly direction. It becomes windy in the north. This brings outbreaks of rain in across Scotland and Northern Ireland in the morning. A fine morning across England and Wales with long sunny spells. In the afternoon the rain in the north spills in across northern parts of England with the south staying fine and dry. Expect maximums across the country of 5 to 8 Celsius but 10 Celsius across Cornwall.

Monday night
Wey and windy this evening across northern England, Wales, The Midlands and the south west of England as the rain clears Scotland to showers in the west. Overnight the wind and rain will be across eastern, central and southern England. It turns colder in the north with lots of showers across western Scotland. A milder night though for most areas with lows of 4 to 7 Celsius.

Tuesday
Very windy across East Anglia and the south east this morning with outbreaks of rain clearing away to the east. Brisk north west winds to then affect Britain with a good deal of cloud and a number of showers, these mainly in the north and the west. Some light rain may affect central England. Sunnier spells may develop across eastern Scotland. Generally it remains cloudy into the night with scattered showers. Expect top temperatures of 7 to 10 Celsius.

Wednesday
A breezy day with much of the country day. Sunny spells should be across eastern Britain, more cloudy in the west. Light rain and showers may affect western areas with a few showers near North Sea coasts. Cloudy for much of the country into the evening and the night with a few spots of patchy, light rain and drizzle. Expect top temperatures of 8 to 11 Celsius.
