Thursday
A wet and windy start to Thursday morning across much of Scotland and Northern England, further exacerbating flooding problems across eastern part of Scotland. Another area of rain and showers across Wales and the Midlands should be fading away fairly quickly and then for much of Wales, Southwest England, and the Midlands it should become dry and brighter although always with the risk of showers across Southwest England and western Wales. Into the afternoon rain continues across Scotland and north east England, The rain remaining heavy at times in eastern Scotland. For most other areas it will be drier and brighter, although again showers could affect parts of western England and Northern Ireland. Temperatures rising to 5 to 9C and feeling chilly.

Thursday Night
Overnight rain continues in eastern and northern Scotland, Although it should fade from the flood prone areas. Most of England and Wales start the night dry with prolonged clear spells. Showers over Ireland Will reach western parts of Wales, Southwest England, Southwest Scotland and Cumbria by morning. Temperatures falling too around 3 to 6°C.

Friday
Low pressure to the north west of Scotland on Friday will drive a band of showers and rain eastwards through much of England and Wales early on Friday morning. These showed clear eastern coast of England by late morning. Drier weather then follows from the west with a few bright or sunny spells. However, western coasts of Wales, western England and western Scotland are likely to be cloudy with a risk of some showery outbreaks of rain throughout the day. Highest temperatures at 4 to 9C.

Saturday
Low pressure remains in control of the weather through Saturday and will be centred to the west of Ireland. An area of cloud and rain affects much of southern Ireland, Wales, and southern England, Some of this heavy at times. Showers for western parts of Scotland and some outbreaks of rain in Northern Ireland. The driest of the weather on Saturday is likely to be across eastern England and the East of Scotland. Highest temperatures at around 6 to 10°C.
