Monday
More persistent rain in northern and western Scotland this morning will be clearing away into Shetland and Orkney. Elsewhere in the morning is going to be rather cloudy, with some drizzle, Most of this across western coast and hills. This afternoon and and stays cloudy and mild for most of the United Kingdom. There will be a few spots of drizzle affecting the hills of Southwest England, Wales, Northwest England, and western and southern Scotland. However to the east of Scotland, North-east England and parts of the Midlands some breaks may occur in the cloud allowing a few brighter spells to come through. Temperatures will be rising to between 10 and 15°C in a moderate south-westerly wind.

Monday Night
Staying very mild overnight into Monday full all areas. There Will be lots of cloud around and also some outbreaks of rain and drizzle over western coast and hills. The risk of coastal fog in the western and southern areas. Foremost it will be dry and there may be a few clearer spells around as well. Temperatures falling no lower than 8 to 11°C.

Tuesday
A further area of low pressure passes to the north west of Scotland on Tuesday. This brings an area of strengthening winds across Scotland, Ireland, Northern England, and the west of Wales. Gales are likely across much of Scotland and Northern Ireland. Heavier bursts of rain will be arriving in Scotland and Ireland during the morning, these then spreading into much of England and Wales through the afternoon. The rain heavy over hills in the north and west, but lighter and more patchy elsewhere. Becoming brighter in Scotland and Ireland this afternoon with showers in the north and west, windy too. Temperatures rising to between 10 and 12°C.

Wednesday
Low pressure is again in charge of the weather through Wednesday, and so after a wet and windy night for many Wednesday morning is likely to be rather cloudy and wet. Rain could be heavy at times. Becoming drier and brighter in Ireland and western Scotland, but with some heavy showers, turning increasingly wintry on the hills. Staying cloudy and damp over most of southern England and much of Wales in the afternoon, although things should slowly improve from the north and west. High temperatures at 7 to 11°C, Feeling cooler as the brighter weather arrives.
