Thursday
A much milder day for Thursday as a warm front clears eastern coasts in the morning. There could be a few outbreaks of rain in East Anglia and southeast England at first, but this is going to be clearing to leave rather cloudy skies for all. Bits of drizzle affecting western coasts and hills, where there could be fog too. The drizzle turns more persistent in western Scotland and western Ireland this afternoon. Highs near 8 to 13C.

Thursday Night
Staying mild through tonight with further drizzle over western coasts and hills. Winds increasing across Ireland and western Scotland later as heavier rain arrives in western Ireland. Drier to the east and south although rather cloudy, but some spots of drizzle along southern coasts. Lows near 8 to 12C.

Friday
A cold front moving into western Scotland and Ireland on Friday morning bringing heavy periods of rain and gusty winds. Mostly dry in the east although rather cloudy. Some drizzle on western coasts of England, Wales and Scotland. The winds increasing in the north and west as rain arrives in western Scotland, eventually reaching northwest England and west Wales by evening. Highs at 6 to 10C.

Saturday
A front clears eastwards in the early hours, leaving dry and bright conditions across eastern Britain, perhaps much of the day. A trough of low pressure moves in from the west, bringing further rain to Ireland, then western Britain through the day. Some snow for the Scottish Highlands. Windy again. Feeling slightly cooler, top temperatures 6 to 9C.
