Friday
A dry and rather mild started to Friday morning across most of the country. It will be breezy with some drizzle affecting western and southern coasts and hills. Rain over western Ireland and western Scotland will be passing eastwards across all parts of Scotland and Ireland by the afternoon. Tending to stay dry through England and Wales, Perhaps with an odd bright to spell across the Midlands and Eastern England. And mild day with temperatures rising to 12°C in southern England and 9°C in northern Scotland.
Friday Night
A wet evening across northern England, Wales and Southwest England. This band of rain will be passing eastwards during the night to cross the rest of England although it will become more showery. Drier conditions reaching Scotland and Ireland, although there will be some showers on western coasts and hills. Lows at 3 to 9C.
Saturday
A marked trough to the west of the country will be pushing fronts eastwards on Saturday. This ringing rain across Ireland and southerst England by early morning. Then becoming wet and windy for much of England, Wales and Ireland, the risk of some heavy bursts of rain across central and southern England. More rain reaches Ireland, Wales and southwest England in the afternoon, although for much of northern England and Scotland (away from the southwest) it may be dry until late afternoon. Highs at 6 to 10C.
Sunday
Another unsettled day on Sunday with low pressure in control. This will be centred north of Scotland with an unsettled westerly flow affecting all areas. Showery outbreaks of rain to the north and west and feeling cool for all. Snow on Scottish hills. Southern England and Wales are likely to be wetter with some heavy spells of rain here. Highs at 4 to 8C.
