Sunday
Temperatures will be near normal today but a keen north east wind will keep it feeling chilly across southern and eastern England. Isolated, patches of freezing fog across Scotland will clear this morning and it's a frosty start to the day in the north. Apart from the odd, light shower across north east England, high pressure will give much of the United Kingdom a fine, dry day. More in the way of sunshine is expected today but the far south may stay rather cloudy. Expect highs of 6 to 7 Celsius.

Sunday night
Through the evening and night the winds increase and it becomes cloudy across Northern Ireland and western Scotland with rain into Northern Ireland and the Western Isles during the night. For England and Wales it's a fine, dry evening and night and with lighter winds and clear skies expect a widespread frost with some patches of freezing fog possible across The Midlands, north east England and the south of England. Expect minimums of 0 to -3 Celsius.

Monday
A windy day away from the south east. Most of central and southern England will stay fine and dry for most of the day with hazy spells of sunshine. Outbreaks of rain across Northern Ireland and Scotland in the morning drifts into the far north west of England and western Wales in the afternoon. Through the evening and night the rain turns heavier across much of Britain and it remains windy but a milder night ahead. Expect top temperatures of 5 to 8 Celsius north to south.

Tuesday
It remains very windy today with coastal gales. It will be quite mild Overall a cloudy, grey day with outbreaks of rain. This may be heaviest in the far south at first before the rain becomes more light and patchy in the afternoon. As it turns colder late in the day across Scotland the rain may change to snow over the northern hills of Scotland and Northern Ireland. A colder, windy night with clear spells and a risk of scattered, wintry across Britain along with some icy patches. Expect top temperatures of 9 to 12 Celsius.
