Saturday
A dry start to the weekend across Scotland, central and eastern parts of England but with increasing cloud. Rain, already through Ireland will be into Wales and southwest England soon after dawn, then spilling eastwards during the morning and afternoon. It may be that the far southeast of England stays dry until evening, but the rain will be arriving here. Sunny spells and showers in Scotland. Rain, heavy at times in ireland for much of the day. Becoming windy in the southern half of the country too. Highs at 16 to 21C.
Saturday Night
Rain and showers over Northern Ireland, southern Scotland and much of England and Wales tonight. It is going to be windy too with gales in exposed parts of England and Wales. Probably drier by the morning over much of England and Ireland, although always showers affecting western coasts. Lows at 10 to 15C.
Sunday
An area of low pressure clearing into the North Sea on Sunday morning. This is going to be taking showers with it, some heavy and prolonged. Brighter weather follows into the west as a ridge of high pressure builds bringing dry weather and sunny spells for many. Showers in the east will be fading . Later in the day fronts bring cloud and rain into Ireland, together with an increased wind. Highs at 16 to 22C. Monday
Low pressure is expected to be centred to the northwest of Scotland on Monday. A ridge of high pressure to the south and east will be bringing the best of the dry weather to these areas. Becoming brighter during the day with sunny spells developing. Always more cloud affecting western parts of Scotland, and the western coasts of England and Wales as well as Ireland. Outbreaks of drizzle here with low cloud shrouding the hills. Becoming humid again in the south with tops of 24C, around 20C in Scotland.
