Windy and cold Rain & showers seiten=4 abk=focus
Sunday
With temperatures below normal and strong northerly winds, it's going to feel quite cold today. For Pembrokeshire and Cornwall expect some heavy showers during the day. Most western parts of Britain should be mainly dry for the morning with some sunshine. Across the eastern half of Britain expect an area of showers and more persistent rain. Showers will also affect Wales and northern England in the afternoon. The showers across the Highlands will be wintry in nature. Northern Ireland looks mainly dry today with sunny spells. Expect maximums of 6 to 10 Celsius.
Sunday night
A number of showers will persist across north east England, the East Midlands, Kent and eastern parts of Scotland with the rest of the country dry. Overnight still some showers to come across eastern Scotland, north east England and East Anglia. It's going to stay windy for the evening and night which should confine any frost to well sheltered locations. A few icy patches may form where showers fell in the north and west. A cold night to come with minimum temperatures of 0 to 5 Celsius.
Monday
Strong north winds across East Anglia and the south east will be moderating through the day but still quite a breezy, cold day to come across Britain. Today scattered showers are likely to be found around North Sea coasts and near western Wales and Cornwall. Fair and dry across much of inland Britain with sunny spells. The winds become light and skies will clear from all but eastern Britain. This will allow a widespread to develop away from the east. Expect top temperatures of 5 to 8 Celsius.
Tuesday
A cold, frosty start for many. It becomes windier from the south west across western parts of Britain where outbreaks of rain spread in during the morning. In the afternoon that rain moves into all but East Anglia, the East Midlands and the south east, turning heavy in the west withy snow over the Highlands. The rain clears Northern Ireland but a wet windy evening for most. Overnight the rain lingers across Wales and the southern half of England. Look for high temperatures of 5 to 9 Celsius.
