Rain, drizzle spreading south-eastward Mild with above normal temperatures seiten=4 abk=focus
Monday
A cloudy morning with a good deal of low cloud and mistiness over the hills as a warm front moves east. This will produce some patchy outbreaks of rain and drizzle across western parts of Scotland, north west England and Wales. In the afternoon these areas will see drizzly rain persisting but rain across the Midlands looks to turn heavier as it moves in across East Anglia and the East Midlands in the afternoon. A mild day with maximums of 11 to 15 Celsius.
Monday night
One area of rain across East Anglia and the south east in the evening will clear away while a more persistent area of rain moves into north west Scotland. Very windy in the far north of Scotland and across the Northern Isles with wind gusts of 50 mph. This area of rain clears northern Scotland overnight spreading in across Northern Ireland, north west England and North Wales. Still some drizzly rain to affect western coasts of England. Dry for the rest of Britain and staying cloudy. A mild night with minimum temperatures of 5 to 9 Celsius.
Tuesday
It continues mild today. Again lots of cloud today and don't expect much in the way of sunshine. While any places may have a bit of drizzle in the breeze, a more organised band of rain is expected across northern England and North Wales and this moves into southern Wales, The Midlands and East Anglia in the afternoon. A dry day to come for Northern Ireland. In the evening rain is expected across central and southern parts of England where it tends to linger into the night. Another area of also sweeps in across Scotland and Northern Ireland. It stays windy across the north with gusts to 45-55 mph around exposed coasts and the hills of Northern Ireland and northern Scotland. Expect top temperatures of 10 to 15 Celsius.
Wednesday
A colder day across Scotland but another mild one for England and Wales. A windy day for all. Any rain near the channel coast moves away this morning. Overall it's another cloudy day with the best of any sunshine to the east of the Pennines and across eastern Scotland. Expect scattered showers and some patchy bits of rain here and there. The showers across the high ground of northern Scotland will turn wintry. Look for high temperatures of 7 to 15 Celsius.
