Localised heavy and perhaps thundery showers across more southern counties of England fading away and then many areas having a dry night on Thursday night with clear spells and variable cloud. Some local mist and fog patches possible, especially where any daytime showers have been. Cool north, mild south. Lows 7C to 14C.
Saturday
Into Saturday and a lot of dry weather is still forecast across more northern areas of the UK in particular with sunny spells. England and Wales may continue to be at risk of some locally heavy showers, perhaps with some isolated thunderstorms in places too. Remaining warm or regionally very warm. Highs 16C to 23C.
Sunday
During Sunday and pressure is forecast to continue to steadily fall and this means a more widespread risk of showers or perhaps thunderstorms developing during the day, but uncertainties over the details. It may well still be England and Wales that is at greatest risk of the heaviest showers, while Scotland remains somewhat drier and brighter, if not sunnier at times. Still warm for most. Highs 16C to 22C.
