Becoming milder Patchy rain west seiten=4 abk=focus

Friday
High pressure extends a ridge into Ireland and the UK on Friday. This brings a cool morning with plenty of sunshine and mostly dry weather. Early mist and fog patches should clear through the morning. More cloud in northern and western Scotland as well as the west of Ireland. Elsewhere it remains dry throughout with long periods of sunshine. There is a low risk of some drizzle drifting onto the coasts of northwest Scotland towards the evening. Highs at 9 to 12C, mildest to the south.

Friday night
Drizzle and patchy outbreaks of light rain affect the northwest of Scotland and the Northern Isles overnight from Friday into Saturday though it stays dry elsewhere. Isolated mist and fog patches form in more sheltered parts of England, Ireland and Wales but they could be more extensive over central Scotland. Under mostly clear skies, temperatures will widely drop to 3 to 8C, cooler in more rural spots where frost is likely to form.

Saturday
Chilly to start Saturday morning. Increasing amounts of broken cloud through Ireland, Wales and England. Some good spells of sunshine for most. The best sunshine in the far north of Scotland. Patchy rain arrives over the far south of Ireland and the southwest of the UK through the late afternoon and spreads further inland through the evening. Highs at 8 to 11C in Scotland, Northern Ireland, Ireland and the north of England, 13 to 15C across the rest of England and Wales.

Sunday
Murky and damp in central, southern and western England and Wales as well as across Ireland with outbreaks of rain and drizzle here. More cloud over western parts of Scotland and across Northern Ireland with further spots of drizzle. Some bright spells in eastern Scotland and northeast England then later over southwestern parts of the UK too. Highs range from 9 to 15C.
