Thursday
A front lies north to south through the UK on Thursday. This brings cloud, rain and drizzle to areas in the north and west. Rain spreading across much of Scotland through the day though the north staying largely dry with sunny spells. Many eastern areas of England also benefitting from drier weather with sunny spells about. Some showers in western Ireland, drier in eastern Ireland. Highs at 7 to 12C.
Thursday Night
Overnight, outbreaks of rain continue to affect much of the country though there will be some dry periods, these more so across the southeast and through far western areas where clearer skies are possible. All the cloud should keep the frost at bay with lows around 3 to 7C.
Friday
The slow moving front gradually pushes more eastwards bringing cloud and rain to eastern regions mainly of England and Scotland on Friday. Perhaps some misty conditions in the east too. Drier in western areas with the cloud being more broken here. Brighter spells across Ireland and Northern Ireland though some showers here too. Sunny conditions coming about through west Scotland and southwest England. Highs at 8 to 10C.
Saturday
High pressure over Scotland and Northern Ireland on Saturday will see a frost first thing here then a dry and fine day overall. Meanwhile, a front runs down England and Wales bringing cloud and outbreaks of rain and drizzle here. Perhaps drier towards more western areas. Highs at 5 to 8C.
