The Month Ahead
30 Day Outlook

Hot at first. High pressure dominating.

The predicted pressure patterns appear to be coming true.

As far back as April we were predicting high pressure to be dominating the weather through August and that the month would be dry and warm!

The current pressure patterns are backing up this forecast, b suggesting that most of August will be hot and dry.

Until the middle of August it appears that the weather will be staying fine and dry.

There may be a brief period of showery weather in the middle of the month, as one area of high pressure moves east, and another builds to the west.

Then a return to more settled weather for most of the rest of the month.
