Unsettled. Near normal temperatures.
Our forecast pressure pattern has had a bit of a "wobble", especially in the detail. Overall, though, the forecast pressure pattern in its general trends remains basically unchanged from last week.
There are hints that as the current north to north westerly flow diminishes, we shall see a general settling down of the weather, albeit only temporarily.
Hints are that after the middle of the month, westerly breezes will continue and then a build of pressure will settle conditions again. This lasting until the beginning of the fourth week, when the weather is expected to become more unsettled once again.
Indications at the moment are for a dry August, although confidence in this is very low.
