The Month Ahead
30 Day Outlook

A slight change in emphasis for the forecast this week. For a while we have been predicting high pressure to build around mid-month.

However, we now think that this process is probably going to be around a week later than we originally thought. An unsettled week ahead. This week does look set to be dominated by areas of low pressure. These are generally going to be to the west of Scotland. They will be vigorous at times, with winds strong at times.

High pressure may edge into the east of the country around the third week of November, before extending through the south of the country towards the end of the month and through December.
