Unsettled November, colder later, mixed start to December

Our forecast pattern does appear to be holding and our prediction for an unsettled start to November certainly appears to be coming true. Therefore, our confidence in the forecast is fairly high.

The immediate outlook is for the unsettled conditions to continue. It will often be wet as many places experience strong winds.

The middle of November may turn more settled as high pressure builds. This may lead to a period of quiet, cool and traditional autumnal conditions. Fog and frost seems probable and these are likely to be widespread.

The end of November is still indicated to be colder with northerly winds. As we head towards the beginning of December conditions wikll become more unsettled as northwest winds settle in.
