The Month Ahead
30 Day Outlook

Spells of high pressure. Unsettled periods.

We remain relatively happily with our predictions of previous weeks and are pleased to report that the anticyclone we forecast to build through the country will make an appearance this week.

It is going to be 4 or 5 days earlier than we anticipated, but when forecasting so far in advance, that can still be regarded as a success!

For the coming period we think that there will be changing intervals of high and low pressure. It does look as if the high we will be seeing this week will sleep southwards, with more unsettled weather following from the north.

The weather will then become more changeable, before turning more settled again towards the end of the month.

It should stay settled in the beginning of April, before it turns unsettled by the second week of the month. Full details below.
