High pressure most dominant
Overall we believe that we can still have moderate confidence in this forecast, with the pressure patterns forecasted over the past few weeks generally coming to fruition.
There are still good hints that even in the longer term, we are happy with the idea of high pressure influencing the weather more than low pressure.
As hinted last week, the coming week may well be the most unsettled and changeable period of the next thirty days.
A more west or south west flow will become established around mid-month, with more anticyclonic influences extending through the British isles and Ireland. Eastern Counties always seem most favoured.
