Unsettled start, then cooler and more settled.
The computer generated global models continue to produce very fluid outlooks, whilst our forecast patterns still hint at a build of pressure during the mid-month periods, with the outlook still uncertain.
Confidence in our pattern remains at a moderate levels and this is particularly strong in our thoughts that high pressure builds from mid-month onwards.
Whether this anticyclonic influence will develop in the way that we believe, remains to be seen However, we still think that there will be a build of pressure close to the UK and Ireland from mid-month and then possibly extending its influence through the latter stages of October!
After that the extended period into the beginning of November has to be quite vague in its detail, as once again the pattern may well breakdown if the forecast high pressure conditions do not materialize.
