The Month Ahead
30 Day Outlook

Unsettled. Only brief drier periods

Our forecast pattern appears stable in its overall evolution.

The coming period looks rather unsettled, and for a time, quite cold, windy with some of the precipitation being wintry in nature.

There is likely to be a short lived spell of quieter weather as a weak area of high pressure moves through the UK and Ireland during next weekend.

In the medium to longer term things look set to be unsettled again, with longer spells of rain. Windy in many areas too.
More southern and south-eastern districts may become drier for a while. However, by the beginning to the middle period of February mainly unsettled weather conditions return again.
