August Outlook

Continuing rather changeable across the northwest, drier and warmer across central and southern districts.

Low pressure will continue to bring unsettled and changeable weather across northern and western areas of the British Isles. High pressure will bring drier and warmer conditions to Southern Britain during mid-August.

Apart from some mixed conditions across the far northwest, all areas should be generally settled into early September.

Conditions are expected to become rather more mixed towards mid-September, especially across the north and west where is may become rather unsettled.
