An unsettled few weeks. Some cold spells. Better mid-November.

Autumn 2002 certainly seems to be well underway. An unsettled weather regime seems to be indicated through this period, although there will of course be periods of several days when the weather may become more settled. However, low pressure is going to be the dominating influence on the weather through the coming week

High pressure may be a transient feature during the first few days of November, although it is then going to be turning unsettled again. High pressure then builds in towards mid-month.
