High pressure is expected to dominate the weather across the British Isles during the middle to latter part of July. Low pressure will at times keep northern and northwestern areas cooler and more showery, central and southern England remaining largely dry.

High pressure is expected to build back through all areas of the British Isles during early August, the south becoming fine and rather warm.
