The Month Ahead
30 Day Outlook

Dry spells to end of the month. Unsettled start to 2004

Our forecast pattern still appears to be acceptable, with the main global computer models changing day by day.

The immediate outlook looks mixed and changeable with milder spells and some colder plunges from the north or north west.

A colder plunge does seem to be "on the cards" just prior to Christmas although how much, if any wintry precipitation will be produced is debatable.

A rise in pressure is expected too, and this may result in high pressure conditions over the Christmas period. Later in the Christmas week all areas will become milder and more unsettled, with an unsettled start to the New Year.
