A change to more settled weather
The forecast pattern continues to indicate that high pressure will have control of conditions as we reach the end of April, although this isn't expected to be as extensive an area as was previously suggested.
Low pressure is never going to be too far away and the proximity of this will push bands of rain through all districts from time to time during the early part of the period. Towards the end of the month pressure should start to build, probably over the UK and Ireland or to the east.
The beginning of May is likely to have high pressure, although showery rain may affect some parts. By mid-May conditions may turn more unsettled with rain or showers for most.
