The Month Ahead
30 Day Outlook

Unsettled. Drier in the south at times. Turning colder towards end.

Our predicted pressure tendencies and models are suggesting that the forecast is currently running according to plan.

This weeks forecast is changed little from last week, and it does seem as if we correctly forecast the transitory ridge of high pressure which will build through the country this week. Overall our meteorologists do expect the weather to stay unsettled throughout most of this period. High pressure to the south may nudge northwards at times, bringing some drier spells for more southern areas.

There are indications that some colder weather may form through the country towards the end of the forecast period as high pressure builds to the north of the country. Confidence in this forecast can be described as medium.
