July/August Outlook

Becoming fine and settled and rather warm. A cooler and fresher interlude with the south becoming dry and settled again. Northwestern areas rather changeable later.

High pressure is expected to dominate the weather across the British Isles during the latter stages of July and early period of August. More showery across northwestern areas, central and southern England remaining largely dry and very warm

Mid-August should see all areas becoming fresher and rather showery for a time

High pressure building back through southern areas will bring a return of settled weather across the south, changeable across the northwest later.
