The Month Ahead
30 Day Outlook

Warmer than normal, then more unsettled and cooler later

Anticyclonic conditions are expected to dominate the weather through the latter stages of June and into the beginning of July.

Low pressure may attempt to erode the influence of the high early in July, as it edges into the west.

The indications are that high pressure will hold, and build back through the country.

The middle stages of July look less certain. Low pressure is thought to begin to take control of the weather, with more unsettled conditions and thundery rain. Still warm in most places.

It will probably turn cooler and more settled again towards the end of the forecast period. Updated Monday 23rd June 2003. Valid Monday 23rd June to Wednesday 23rd July 2003
