We have not altered our 30 day forecast materially this week when looked at on the broader scale.

Overall we do this that the weather will be dominated by westerly winds, bringing rain to many places and some mild weather.

However, our models did not indicate this weeks expected cold snap, which is forecast to bring snow showers and much colder temperatures from Tuesday until the weekend. It is our belief that this is a minor atmospheric disturbance, hence the failure of ou r models to pick up this feature.

On a more positive note, we do still believe that pressure will build from the west in mid-February, bringing some colder weather again, with some overnight frosts.
