Our confidence in the forecast this week is best considered as very low.
Last weeks forecast has been compromised somewhat by the area of low pressure moving southwards through Ireland this weekend. This could have a bearing on the rest of the forecast period, although at this stage it is to early to tell.
Present indications are that October is probably going to be a rather changeable month.
It is expected to be dominated by low pressure which will pas through the country at times. This will bring cloud and periods of rain.
Only towards the end of the month is high pressure thought to build back in again, and as mentioned earlier, the confidence on this is low.
