No return to summer is expected by our forecasters. Yes, there will be some warm or even very warm days, especially during the week ahead, but these aren't going to be lasting long.

It will be rather mixed through the month as a whole, with periods of rain spreading eastwards at times.

There will continue to be some drier interludes, however, making precise predictions of when these will be is difficult.

Overall we expect temperature, rain and sunshine levels to be around normal for the time of year.
