Mainly unsettled, no prolonged cold spells expected
All our research during this week suggests that no prolonged cold spell of weather is expected in the month ahead.
Our thoughts are that low pressure is always going to be dominating, and this will be bringing weather fronts eastwards through the country, with associated rain and showers.
High pressure may build into the south later in the month. This could bring some drier conditions here, although these are likely to be fairly short lived.
Our confidence in this forecast is best described as moderate.
