We do have reasonable confidence in this forecast, with our previous forecasts going according to plan.

There are now strong indications that high pressure is likely to dominate conditions throughout April.

Of course there will be some more unsettled interludes with heavy and sometimes thundery rain. These are listed below.

Overall our forecasters believe that the current blocked pattern will remain with high pressure always trying to rebuild, even when broken down by some substantial areas of low pressure.
